The choice of flooring available on the market today is ever widening. In fact, it can be overwhelming. We’ve taken a look at 5 trends we’ve noticed are becoming increasingly popular with our clients on their projects.

Classic Wood.

Wood flooring is perfect for creating a beautiful and traditional look in any room. Thankfully now you don’t have to go the trouble of attempting to waterproof wood to enjoy its features and characteristics in your bathroom. Wood effect tiles look stunning, just like the real thing and offer all the durability and water resistance you’d expect from tiles. Try a light driftwood look or a woodgrain timber look, mix with a roll top bath, an elegant basin and Edwardian era style finishing touches and you have got a classic looking bathroom. Edges and corners can be finished with a brushed stainless steel profile, adding a subtle stylish finishing touch

Contemporary cool.

Make a stylish statement with attention grabbing graffiti effect tiles. Create an artistic effect that looks particularly striking with bold coloured accessories. Keep the bathroom suite white for balance. Add the likes of candles, towels and plants to add your statement.

Ice White.

Bathrooms should be refreshing, cool, airy and relaxing. There’s no better way to evoke this atmosphere than with shimmering white snow like tiles. Many can bring subtle shades of blue, silver and white to your bathroom. This look can be achieved on floors and walls. Finish with a polished chrome aluminium or chrome plated brass trim for the finishing touch. Complement the look with highly polished silver fittings and fluffy white or cool blue towels.

The new monochrome.

There’s a new way to black and white. Small geometric pattern provide the sort of intricate detailing that makes a bathroom stand out, leaving you with the choice of upping the wow factor with coloured walls or sticking with black and white for a sophisticated finish. We have a range of powder coated trims in a selection of profiles to suit this look perfectly. Black and white tiles look just as good with period style furnishings and fitting as they do with modern choices.

Sparkling Stars.

High shine bathroom flooring is a sure way to make people stop and stare. Look for tiles enhanced with crushed Quartz for a sparkling gloss finish. Make the most of the tiles reflective properties with spotlights in the ceiling. Think about creating a feature strip on the tile to break it up using a listello profile from the range. They are available in a range of profiles and materials.
